Spondylolisthesis grade I and II

Spondylolisthesis grade I and II

Spondylolisthesis is the sliding of one vertebra over another. It can cause pressure on the nerves of the spine, causing pain, usually in the lower back. It is important not to confuse it with other conditions such as non-specific low back pain, so medical consultation is essential for its diagnosis.

  • Grade I Spondylolisthesis: No symptoms.
  • Grade II Spondylolisthesis: Low back pain that can radiate pain into the legs, pain increases when the trunk is tilted back (extension).

Diagnosis and treatment

The origin of spondylolisthesis can be trauma, congenital or degenerative conditions. To be diagnosed correctly, imaging tests such as x-rays or MRIs must be performed.

At the Centro de la Columna Vertebralwe have an antineurotic treatment, which regenerates root myelin, as well as the ©Ovando Sanders formula..

We complement this with physical therapy, rehabilitation with the McKenzie therapeutic program, massages, humid heat, electrical stimulation and ultrasounds.

In its early stages, Grade I and II Spondylolisthesis can be treated without the need for surgical intervention, so it is important to diagnose it in time.

We have clinics in the country’s main cities:
Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla ,Queretaro and Satelite.
